Summary / Movie Description

Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax or simply “The Lorax” is a 3D CGI film that is based on the children’s book of Dr. Seuss of the same title. It features the voices of Danny DeVito, Zac Efron, Taylor Swift, Ed Helms, Rob Riggle, Betty White and Jenny Slate. The animation movie surrounds with the life of Ted (Zac Efron) who is an idealistic young boy who lives in “Thneed-Ville”, an artificial city, who sets out to find the one thing that will win him the love of Audrey (Taylor Swift) who wishes to see a real tree. In his attemp to find a seed, he uncovers a city that has been closed off from the outside world, and meets the reclusive Once-ler (Ed Helms), who recounts the story of how he met the Lorax (Danny DeVito), a grumpy yet charming creature who serves as guardian of the land.

The film release date in theaters is March 2, 2012 and distributed by Universal Pictures. Chris Renaud and Kyle Balda directed this movie.
